I was surfing the internet awhile back and I found this site that has a very talented musical performer. I had to stop and listen and watch the video. Andrew Winton is his name and you can hear him at Andrew Borrok friendfeed. He combines acoustic, slide, and dobro guitar. He has a custom designed 'Wintonbeast' guitar and he combines his music with stomps, humour, and original songs to give a very satisfying performance. His engaging and unique style crosses the styles of blues, roots, pop, bluegrass, and gospel. I am also a musician so I appreciate talent when I see it and I realize how much hard work is involved. Andrew Winton has performed at many major festivals including Port Fairy, Fairbridge, Bridgetown Blues, and West Coast Blues & Roots. In my life I have played a lot of music of many different genres. My childhood memories are full of gospel and bluegrass music. Andrew Wintons music is full of nostalgia for me and I admire his talent. The finger picking he does on the dobro is fantastic! Check him out and tap your feet in rhythm to his music. I did!
