Staying home at Christmas

We are supposed to visit my mother in-law to spend Christmas day with her. Unfortunately, my baby and I got sick. I have running nose and soar throat and he got fever. I'm always scared when my baby get sick. I know how miserable it feels when I get sick and I'm for sure know that the baby is more miserable compare to adult. Since my family and I are staying home, I decided to bake pumpkin roll and strawberry pie. We have plenty of meat so I decided to just cook a thick piece of beef steak along with the fresh asparagus, fried potatoes and fried chicken liver.

This year is the best year that ever happened to me. God given me such sweet baby boy to love and give the future to. My Husband has been so busy at his work and his shop and that he didn't think about buying me a Christmas card. One thing that ticks me off is, he has so many excuses and he is one vindictive man.Sometimes, I think about him and start thinking "Is this man deserve to have me as his wife"? He is 57th year's old and I'm 30 year's old. I love him in so many ways but he also disappoint me in so many ways. My life with him have so many ups and down. He took advantage of me in so many ways especially when I wasn't able to work. He shamed me and say a lot of bad things to me. I understand him being an imperfect man but sometimes things are so much to bear and tolerate. My journey here in America have been so many challenges and I'm hoping things will settle down and give me peace in mind and strength to face the journey ahead.

Laid off for two weeks

My company shut down for two weeks. The reason they shut it down is they run out of work. I kind of glad that they shut it down. I can get to spend time with my baby boy. He is six months old and he needs Mommy's care. After two weeks off I go back to work and my son will start spending his day time with his Nanny. I hope the Nanny, will take good care of him like she take good care of her own kids. I pray that everything will work out for both of us so I don't have to quit my job.

Four more days till Christmas, I'm excited about it. I can't wait to see my baby boy open his gifts. He got more gifts than anyone in the family. He is surely loved and me as a Mom, I feel blessed to have such a sweet baby boy. Praise God!

Happy 2015 Thanksgiving everyone!

Every year, my Husband family have gathering party for Thanksgiving. Almost everyone in the family are busy cooking food for the celebration. I cook pancit and cherry pie. Me and my family had a  blast during the party. My mother was with us too and it was great having her with us to meet the family of my Husband. I took several pictures in the party but I will upload just one as a remembrance of my son first Thanksgiving in the family. He is five months old now and he is getting stronger everyday. Watching him grow up everyday is the most precious moments in our life. He is such a sweet baby boy and we love him to death. I post more later. I'm such a busy Mom now :) and I never  regret anything for being busy.

Happy Halloween everyone

It's Halloween and  my Husband and I been a little bit busy today doing house chores. We also took some pictures of our son for Halloween to remember when he grow up. He is 4 months old and I'm so proud of him for what he become already. He seems to be a be a fast learner and good listener. He loved to  be entertained most of the time. Today, we decided to put some make-up on him and he like it. I uploaded two pictures of him with his Dad so you can see how he look like (hahaha). It tickled me when me and my Husband seen the output of the make-up we applied on his beautiful face.On the first picture he look old and the next picture he look like a rock-star with a wig. I hope you all enjoy reading my "Life's Journey". I'm  one  proud, happy, and blessed mother of my son and my Husband. I'm satisfied with my life and I'm so grateful to the Father in heaven for giving me such wonderful blessings and unconditional love. Praise God and Happy 2015 Halloween everyone.
