Love My Animals

Guest post of the week by Moises Henderson

I love my animals but they really wear me out. I don’t know what I was thinking getting such high energy dogs but I feel like all I’m ever doing is chasing them from one room to another trying to get on their leashes or get them in the bath or something. I think my first problem was getting two of them. If I only had one I don’t think he would get as riled up and that would make my life half as difficult. But originally I got two because I didn’t want the one to be sad without a partner so you know, there wasn’t much I could do about it. Anyway, I went to WWW.HOMESECURITYSYSTEM.cOM when I moved to my new place to get an alarm to keep them inside – the older one has been known to open unlocked doors. I know, that’s crazy, but they’re that smart and hyper. Anyway, my kids love having someone to play with but for me it’s more hassle than it’s worth.

Laying in Bed…

Having to lay in bed while you rest being sick is the absolute worst thing to me. I can’t stay still for more than ten minutes at a time so I’m constantly tossing and turning and when I get sick I really, really get sick so I’ve usually got some type of fever or chills or something too which makes it even more unbearable. My husband was great in July when I got the bug and stayed home from work with me. We’d just gotten some Direct TV deals and specials for the TV so we cuddled up and watched old movies. I swear, no matter how contagious the illness I have is he never seems to catch whatever I have! I don’t know if we’ve got different immune systems or what but his is definitely better than mine, that’s for sure! I hope I don’t get sick again in the fall and I’m definitely going to get a flu shot to try to ward off any bad illnesses…

We went to Tulsa Zoo

Yesterday was a pretty big day for me and my husband. We spent half a day at Tulsa Zoo. We took a bunch of pictures so I can share them to both of our families. We left Tulsa Zoo about 1:00 pm and got to Springdale about 3:00 pm or so. We stopped at Oriental store to buy groceries. When we get back to our car something was wrong. The truck don’t start and it was a big problem. I am glad that when it happened it was close to a  Car Lot. I talk to my husband and told him it is time to buy a car. We did bought a new car and I am glad it is such a good car and it will be our dependable car. I hope it will last for many years. By the way we had a hectic day yesterday but all are fine now. I thank God above for providing what we need. All that happened yesterday was trial for us of how we handle life together.

Below are the pictures of the animals we took from Tulsa Zoo. I hope you will like them, and if you have never been visit Tulsa Zoo, I suggest that it is time for you to visit. They have many shows and animals and the place is hot but you can cool off if you get hot as they have building around that has AC. The entrance charge is $8 for adult and $4 dollar for kids. Well, I did not expect that the woman at entrance would charge me $4 dollar. I am 25 years old but she think I am a child. I do not know why some people think I am a child. I hate it thou but I can’t stop them. Maybe I have to accept what they think and let it go.

Bachelor Party

One of the best "How I Met Your Mother" episodes I have ever seen on www.direc4u.com still has to be "Bachelor Party" from season two. As the title suggests, it involves the bachelor and wedding shower parties for Marshall and Lily. While best man Ted plans Marshall's ideal bachelor party, Barney throws a wrench in the kinks by adding a traditional element of bachelor parties, the stripper. He also manages to convince Robin that instead of a standard wedding shower gift, she should get a "battery-powered adult recreational fake penis" to spice up conversation. It all goes awry when the stripper hurts herself causing the guys to miss all of Ted's planned, Marshall-approved activities and Lily's wedding shower is for the elder females in her family and their friends.

Robin spends the entire party trying to prevent Lily from opening her present only to find that when she does, the older woman love it believing it to be a gag gift and very "Sex in the City" like. When the two go downstairs to the bar, they are surprised to find Marshall and Ted who explain how Barney ruined all of their plans. Marshall debates whether to even invite Barney, which causes Lily to spill the secret of how Barney flew from New York to San Francisco in order to reunite the two lovers. Easily one of the best moments on the show and I love how it tied in with past episodes, explaining things like why Barney kept stealing all of Marshall's dates.

Shopping at Work

I really love online shopping. I mean, I REALLY love online shopping! I spend my days in a dental office where I’m an assistant and there’s often a lot of downtime. Once I’ve looked at all my favorite blogs and answered personal emails I like to immediately head to some of my favorite online stores and get to shopping! Thankfully my boss has us set up with CLEARWIRELESSINTERNETso I can take my laptop all around the office and get my shop on. It’s especially nice when Sherra can sit at the front desk and I can go outside and sit in the sun! I usually focus on shopping for clothes – dresses, skirts, tops I can wear to work – but sometimes I’ll venture over to sites where I can look at bedding sales, household towels, etc. I once found a great sale at a kitchen store online and restocked my kitchen at home! I know I should be working but somehow online shopping is so much more fun…

I like the weather today

Today I started my day digging the rocks in our garden area. If you wonder why I dig rocks in our garden, I tell you what, we live in ozark mountain where there are lots of big rocks. Today I hauled about three load of rocks on the trailer. By the way, I like the weather today, is not cold nor hot. It is like the weather in my country Philippines during the year 1990. I like the weather during those years. But now the weather in my country is bad. As for my day, I am proud to day that I got a perfect day. I got to work at the garden, do small chores in the house and play my online game. The good thing about playing game is it help me occupied my time and help me not get so lonely of being alone all day. My husband work everyday except Saturday and Sunday. I love my life here in America with my husband. I am hoping that soon may my husband and I could have a baby. I love kids and I love to have my own kids. Well, I am kind of tired now and nothing more I can share for now, so see you all next time bloggers and friends.

My husband and I had a good weekend together

My husband has been busy working. They even work  Saturday and that makes me feel bad. Earning extra money is good but I don’t like it too because I want to have enough time with my husband. I love to spend my time with my husband. He is a great husband and I am proud of him. Last Saturday my husband and I stay most of the time outside. He cut the big tree near to our chicken house. I plan to make charcoal part of the tree and the rest will be given to our neighbors that need some firewood. We got a lot of trees around our property and we make them grow big. They are tall and healthy but some trees are not. The wood pecker made holes on some of our trees. It made me feel bad though but that’s what the bird made for. Make hole in trees and build nest and that is probably why they are name as a wood pecker because they peck-peck-peck.

I got such a good weekend with my husband. We cooked outside and eat on the swing. I like to be outside most of the time if the weather is perfect. I love to feel the fresh air, hear the voices of birds and other animals and spend time with my husband. As for spring time, I can’t wait, I am tired of cold weather makes me feel sleepy and lazy.

A New Move

Guest post written by Andrew Mayers

After growing up in northern New England, Boston was always the big city to me. I didnÕt make it to New York or any other city when I was young, and by the time I graduated from high school, I decided that I wanted to live in Boston. After many years, I have found a wife, found a great house, and found a career that I really excel in. Right now, I really donÕt know what I would do to make my life better. My wife has always wanted us start a new life down south. While IÕve been hesitant to leave the area IÕve been in my whole life, I know my wife wants to be closer to her family. In all honesty, IÕve done everything I set out to do here, and maybe now itÕs time to move on.

This week, we are planning to get the house in order. I recently search for sears kitchen counters Newtonand found some help there. I am also going to hire some painters. I canÕt believe IÕm going to leave Massachusetts shortly, but IÕm ready for new chapter in our lives to come!

Kauai is called the garden isle and may be the most beautiful Hawaiian Island

There is nothing quite like living or visiting in the tropics. Our own beautiful tropics,  Hawaii is one of the most beautiful places in the world. It is the newest state of the 50, having joined our country in 1959. It is the only state made up entirely of islands, consisting of hundreds in its entirety, but only 8 main islands. The most beautiful of the Hawaiian islands is probably  Kauai which is known as the garden isle. It is the 21'st largest island in the United States. The name Kauai actually has no known meaning and the island originated from volcanic activity about 6 million years ago.

There is much in Hawaii to attract visitors, or people looking for a place to retire. There are 8  national parks, including Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, which lives up to its name. Kilauea Volcano resides there and is known as one of the most active volcanoes in the United States.

Hawaii, and all of the Hawaiian islands are a wonderful place to plan a vacation to. So much to see and do, so much culture and native cuisine to experience. Its a wonderful place to retire, or just buy a vacation home for those much needed getaways. A place of dreams, experiences, memories. Don't forget the surf, dances, whales, and most of all romance!
