Bachelor Party

One of the best "How I Met Your Mother" episodes I have ever seen on www.direc4u.com still has to be "Bachelor Party" from season two. As the title suggests, it involves the bachelor and wedding shower parties for Marshall and Lily. While best man Ted plans Marshall's ideal bachelor party, Barney throws a wrench in the kinks by adding a traditional element of bachelor parties, the stripper. He also manages to convince Robin that instead of a standard wedding shower gift, she should get a "battery-powered adult recreational fake penis" to spice up conversation. It all goes awry when the stripper hurts herself causing the guys to miss all of Ted's planned, Marshall-approved activities and Lily's wedding shower is for the elder females in her family and their friends.

Robin spends the entire party trying to prevent Lily from opening her present only to find that when she does, the older woman love it believing it to be a gag gift and very "Sex in the City" like. When the two go downstairs to the bar, they are surprised to find Marshall and Ted who explain how Barney ruined all of their plans. Marshall debates whether to even invite Barney, which causes Lily to spill the secret of how Barney flew from New York to San Francisco in order to reunite the two lovers. Easily one of the best moments on the show and I love how it tied in with past episodes, explaining things like why Barney kept stealing all of Marshall's dates.
